GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The registration of instruments by registering officers under the Maharashtra Stamp Act, 1958, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Stamp Auditor, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every registering officer carrying on the registration of instruments shall furnish Form H to the District Registrar within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every registering officer carrying on the registration of instruments shall make an application in Form H to the District Registrar within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the registration of instruments is undertaken, and the District Registrar shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Maharashtra.
