GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of an inam by inamdars under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall furnish Form 3 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall make an application in Form 3 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of an inam is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Puducherry.
