GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The practice of pharmacy by pharmacists under the Tamil Nadu Private Clinical Establishments (Regulation) Act, 1997, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Medical Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every pharmacist carrying on the practice of pharmacy shall furnish Form 28 to the Drugs Controller within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every pharmacist carrying on the practice of pharmacy shall make an application in Form 28 to the Drugs Controller within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the practice of pharmacy is undertaken, and the Drugs Controller shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
