GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The collection of Panchayat taxes by collectors of a Panchayat tax under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Block Development Officer, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every collector of a Panchayat tax carrying on the collection of Panchayat taxes shall furnish Form 3 to the Block Development Officer within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every collector of a Panchayat tax carrying on the collection of Panchayat taxes shall make an application in Form 3 to the Block Development Officer within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of Panchayat taxes is undertaken, and the Block Development Officer shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
