GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The cultivation of land as a sharecropper by sharecroppers under the Bihar Land Reforms Act, 1950, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Patwari, the Government of Bihar, after careful examination, hereby orders that every sharecropper carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall furnish Form 12 to the Board of Revenue within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sharecropper carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall make an application in Form 12 to the Board of Revenue within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as a sharecropper is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Bihar.
