GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The maintenance of a dam by owners of a dam under the Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Canal Officer, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a dam carrying on the maintenance of a dam shall furnish Form H to the Government of Rajasthan within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a dam carrying on the maintenance of a dam shall make an application in Form H to the Government of Rajasthan within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the maintenance of a dam is undertaken, and the Government of Rajasthan shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Rajasthan.
