GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Bihar Land Reforms Act, 1950, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Bihar, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form 3 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 3 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar.
