GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: Fishing in a village tank by lessees of a village fishery under the Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1962, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of a village fishery carrying on fishing in a village tank shall furnish Form 2 to the Zila Parishad within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of a village fishery carrying on fishing in a village tank shall make an application in Form 2 to the Zila Parishad within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which fishing in a village tank is undertaken, and the Zila Parishad shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
