GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: Membership of a society by members under the Maharashtra Agricultural Lands (Ceiling on Holdings) Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every member carrying on membership of a society shall furnish Form G to the Registrar within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every member carrying on membership of a society shall make an application in Form G to the Registrar within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which membership of a society is undertaken, and the Registrar shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Maharashtra.
