GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Superintendent, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form E to the Collector within ten days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form E to the Collector within ten days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within ten days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of Maharashtra.
