GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The execution of defence works by contractors for defence works under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the commanding officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor for defence works carrying on the execution of defence works shall furnish Form B to the Defence Estates Officer within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for defence works carrying on the execution of defence works shall make an application in Form B to the Defence Estates Officer within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of defence works is undertaken, and the Defence Estates Officer shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
