Puducherry, dated the 26th November, 2021

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land assessed to revenue by holders of land under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Revenue Inspector, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall furnish Form 2 to the Land Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall make an application in Form 2 to the Land Tribunal within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land assessed to revenue is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Puducherry.
