GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a common service centre by operators of a common service centre under the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Block Development Officer, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a common service centre carrying on the running of a common service centre shall furnish Form 7 to the Director of Panchayats within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a common service centre carrying on the running of a common service centre shall make an application in Form 7 to the Director of Panchayats within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a common service centre is undertaken, and the Director of Panchayats shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of West Bengal.
