GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The possession of land by persons in possession of land under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of Telangana, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall furnish Form 5 to the Collector within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall make an application in Form 5 to the Collector within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the possession of land is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Telangana.
