GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a commercial establishment by keepers of a commercial establishment under the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishments (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act, 1981, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector of Factories, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of a commercial establishment carrying on the running of a commercial establishment shall furnish Form VI to the Chief Inspector within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a commercial establishment carrying on the running of a commercial establishment shall make an application in Form VI to the Chief Inspector within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a commercial establishment is undertaken, and the Chief Inspector shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
