GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a children's home by operators of a children's home under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the District Child Protection Officer, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a children's home carrying on the running of a children's home shall furnish Form VII to the Committee within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a children's home carrying on the running of a children's home shall make an application in Form VII to the Committee within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a children's home is undertaken, and the Committee shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
