GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a children's home by operators of a children's home under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Probation Officer, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a children's home carrying on the running of a children's home shall furnish Form I to the Child Welfare Committee within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a children's home carrying on the running of a children's home shall make an application in Form I to the Child Welfare Committee within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a children's home is undertaken, and the Child Welfare Committee shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
