ORDER

Subject: The holding of land assessed to revenue by holders of land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Accountant, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall furnish Form 12 to the Board of Revenue within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall make an application in Form 12 to the Board of Revenue within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land assessed to revenue is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
