GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Tamil Nadu Cultivating Tenants Protection Act, 1955, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Surveyor, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form 8 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 8 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
