Mumbai, dated the 4th January, 2021

GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The storage of foodgrains by storages operator of foodgrains under the Maharashtra Animal Preservation Act, 1977, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Food Safety Supervisor, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every storage operator of foodgrains carrying on the storage of foodgrains shall furnish Form F to the Registering Authority within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every storage operator of foodgrains carrying on the storage of foodgrains shall make an application in Form F to the Registering Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the storage of foodgrains is undertaken, and the Registering Authority shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Maharashtra.
