GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a rice mill in a village by operators of a rice mill in a village under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Panchayat Development Officer, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a rice mill in a village carrying on the running of a rice mill in a village shall furnish Form 6 to the Panchayat Samiti within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a rice mill in a village carrying on the running of a rice mill in a village shall make an application in Form 6 to the Panchayat Samiti within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a rice mill in a village is undertaken, and the Panchayat Samiti shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Rajasthan.
