GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of defence land on lease by lessees of defence land under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Adjutant, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of defence land carrying on the holding of defence land on lease shall furnish Form B to the Director-General within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of defence land carrying on the holding of defence land on lease shall make an application in Form B to the Director-General within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of defence land on lease is undertaken, and the Director-General shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
