GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The imparting of instruction in driving by driving schools under the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1957, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector of Motor Vehicles, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every driving school carrying on the imparting of instruction in driving shall furnish Form 23 to the Regional Transport Authority within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every driving school carrying on the imparting of instruction in driving shall make an application in Form 23 to the Regional Transport Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the imparting of instruction in driving is undertaken, and the Regional Transport Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka.
