Chennai, dated the 10th February, 2020

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The exhibition of films by exhibitors under the Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders (Regulation) Act, 1984, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Regional Officer of the Board, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every exhibitor carrying on the exhibition of films shall furnish Form IV to the Registering Authority within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every exhibitor carrying on the exhibition of films shall make an application in Form IV to the Registering Authority within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the exhibition of films is undertaken, and the Registering Authority shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
