Puducherry, dated the 8th February, 2020

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall furnish Form 12 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Puducherry.
