GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The keeping of milch cattle by dairy farmers under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Seed Inspector, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dairy farmer carrying on the keeping of milch cattle shall furnish Form C to the Board within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dairy farmer carrying on the keeping of milch cattle shall make an application in Form C to the Board within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of milch cattle is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Punjab.
