GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The consumption of energy by a designated consumer by designated consumers under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Electrical Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every designated consumer carrying on the consumption of energy by a designated consumer shall furnish Form V to the Authority within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every designated consumer carrying on the consumption of energy by a designated consumer shall make an application in Form V to the Authority within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the consumption of energy by a designated consumer is undertaken, and the Authority shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat.
