GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors under the Punjab Excise Act, 1914, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Excise, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall furnish Form C to the Excise Appellate Authority within ten days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall make an application in Form C to the Excise Appellate Authority within ten days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the wholesale vend of liquor is undertaken, and the Excise Appellate Authority shall dispose of it within ten days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Punjab.
