GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The use of water by users of water under the Kerala Irrigation and Water Conservation Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Divisional Canal Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every user of water carrying on the use of water shall furnish Form A to the Tribunal within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every user of water carrying on the use of water shall make an application in Form A to the Tribunal within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of water is undertaken, and the Tribunal shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Kerala.
