New Delhi, dated the 1st March, 2019

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The retail vend of liquor by retail vendors under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Excise, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every retail vendor carrying on the retail vend of liquor shall furnish Form G to the Collector within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every retail vendor carrying on the retail vend of liquor shall make an application in Form G to the Collector within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the retail vend of liquor is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
