Chennai, dated the 14th December, 2018

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The business of a registrar to an issue by registrars to an issue under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors Act, 1997, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the adjudicating officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every registrar to an issue carrying on the business of a registrar to an issue shall furnish Form C to the Government of Tamil Nadu within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every registrar to an issue carrying on the business of a registrar to an issue shall make an application in Form C to the Government of Tamil Nadu within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a registrar to an issue is undertaken, and the Government of Tamil Nadu shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
