GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Charity Commissioner, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor for a religious fair carrying on the conduct of a religious fair shall furnish Form D to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for a religious fair carrying on the conduct of a religious fair shall make an application in Form D to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of a religious fair is undertaken, and the Deputy Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of Odisha.
