GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The working of a distillery by distillers under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Commissioner of Excise, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every distiller carrying on the working of a distillery shall furnish Form C to the Excise Appellate Authority within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every distiller carrying on the working of a distillery shall make an application in Form C to the Excise Appellate Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a distillery is undertaken, and the Excise Appellate Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
