GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The giving of private tuition by private tutors under the Karnataka Education Act, 1995, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Block Education Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every private tutor carrying on the giving of private tuition shall furnish Form E to the Board of Secondary Education within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every private tutor carrying on the giving of private tuition shall make an application in Form E to the Board of Secondary Education within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the giving of private tuition is undertaken, and the Board of Secondary Education shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Karnataka.
