Chennai, dated the 15th April, 2018

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a private market by operators of a private market under the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1972, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sanitary Inspector, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a private market carrying on the running of a private market shall furnish Form D to the Development Authority within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a private market carrying on the running of a private market shall make an application in Form D to the Development Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a private market is undertaken, and the Development Authority shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
