GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Uttar Pradesh Excise Act, 1910, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Guard, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form B to the Excise Appellate Authority within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form B to the Excise Appellate Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the Excise Appellate Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
