GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The holding of a public assembly by organisers of a public assembly under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Executive Magistrate, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every organiser of a public assembly carrying on the holding of a public assembly shall furnish Form II to the Government of Maharashtra within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every organiser of a public assembly carrying on the holding of a public assembly shall make an application in Form II to the Government of Maharashtra within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of a public assembly is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Maharashtra.
