GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a genetic counselling centre by genetic counselling centres under the Maharashtra Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1949, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Drugs Inspector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every genetic counselling centre carrying on the running of a genetic counselling centre shall furnish Form 25 to the Director of Health Services within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every genetic counselling centre carrying on the running of a genetic counselling centre shall make an application in Form 25 to the Director of Health Services within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a genetic counselling centre is undertaken, and the Director of Health Services shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra.
