GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The imparting of education through open learning by operators of an open school under the Maharashtra Universities Act, 2016, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Education Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of an open school carrying on the imparting of education through open learning shall furnish Form D to the Board of Secondary Education within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of an open school carrying on the imparting of education through open learning shall make an application in Form D to the Board of Secondary Education within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the imparting of education through open learning is undertaken, and the Board of Secondary Education shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Maharashtra.
