GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The trading of electricity by trading licensees under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Petroleum Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every trading licensee carrying on the trading of electricity shall furnish Form II to the Grievance Redressal Forum within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every trading licensee carrying on the trading of electricity shall make an application in Form II to the Grievance Redressal Forum within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the trading of electricity is undertaken, and the Grievance Redressal Forum shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Gujarat.
