GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The operation of a water supply scheme by operators of a water supply scheme under the Maharashtra Irrigation Act, 1976, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Irrigation Inspector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a water supply scheme shall furnish Form B to the Ground Water Authority within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a water supply scheme shall make an application in Form B to the Ground Water Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a water supply scheme is undertaken, and the Ground Water Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
