Bengaluru, dated the 25th July, 2017

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The administration of vaccines by operators of a vaccination centre under the Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act, 2007, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Drugs Inspector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a vaccination centre carrying on the administration of vaccines shall furnish Form 20-B to the Director of Health Services within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a vaccination centre carrying on the administration of vaccines shall make an application in Form 20-B to the Director of Health Services within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of vaccines is undertaken, and the Director of Health Services shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka.
