Amaravati, dated the 14th March, 2017

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of a gurdwara by committees of a gurdwara under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Waqf Officer, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every committee of a gurdwara carrying on the management of a gurdwara shall furnish Form G to the Registrar of Societies within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every committee of a gurdwara carrying on the management of a gurdwara shall make an application in Form G to the Registrar of Societies within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a gurdwara is undertaken, and the Registrar of Societies shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
