GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The construction of buildings in a cantonment by owners of land within a cantonment under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Garrison Engineer, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of land within a cantonment carrying on the construction of buildings in a cantonment shall furnish Form A to the Cantonment Board within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of land within a cantonment carrying on the construction of buildings in a cantonment shall make an application in Form A to the Cantonment Board within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the construction of buildings in a cantonment is undertaken, and the Cantonment Board shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
