GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Bihar Land Reforms Act, 1950, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of Bihar, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form 14 to the Settlement Officer within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 14 to the Settlement Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Bihar.
