GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sale of seeds by dealers under the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Act, 1959, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on the sale of seeds shall furnish Form A to the Director of Agriculture within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on the sale of seeds shall make an application in Form A to the Director of Agriculture within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of seeds is undertaken, and the Director of Agriculture shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
