GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form 12 to the Collector within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 12 to the Collector within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Puducherry.
