GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The conduct of Government business by a bank by bank conducting Government businesses under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Internal Auditor, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every bank conducting Government business carrying on the conduct of Government business by a bank shall furnish Form GFR 12-C to the Public Accounts Committee within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bank conducting Government business carrying on the conduct of Government business by a bank shall make an application in Form GFR 12-C to the Public Accounts Committee within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of Government business by a bank is undertaken, and the Public Accounts Committee shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Gujarat.
