GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Service as a civil defence volunteer by civil defence volunteers under the Karnataka Fire Force Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Station Fire Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every civil defence volunteer carrying on service as a civil defence volunteer shall furnish Form D to the National Authority within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every civil defence volunteer carrying on service as a civil defence volunteer shall make an application in Form D to the National Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which service as a civil defence volunteer is undertaken, and the National Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka.
