GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The storage of petroleum by persons engaged in the supply of energy under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Electrical Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person engaged in the supply of energy carrying on the storage of petroleum shall furnish Form VII to the Appropriate Commission within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every person engaged in the supply of energy carrying on the storage of petroleum shall make an application in Form VII to the Appropriate Commission within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the storage of petroleum is undertaken, and the Appropriate Commission shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat.
